Confidence-building skateboard coaching
Foundation Skate School offers individual or small-group skateboarding lessons & coaching focused on building strong foundations, confidence, and progression for beginners and intermediate skaters. Sessions are delivered one-to-one or in groups of up to three, allowing coaching to be tailored to each skater’s ability and goals. Lessons take place at Exist Skatepark, during open park hours, in a shared and supportive environment. Coaching is led by an experienced, qualified skate coach with over 10 years’ experience, with all skateboards and protective equipment provided to ensure sessions are accessible, safe, and enjoyable.
Expert Coaching
Coaching is led by Robbo, a highly experienced skateboard coach with over 25 years of skateboarding experience and more than 10 years coaching at Exist Skatepark. Robbo is Skateboard GB accredited, first aid trained, and DBS checked, with a strong track record of delivering safe, inclusive, and confidence-building sessions. His approach is person-centred and adaptable, with experience supporting skaters of all ages, abilities, and a range of additional or adaptive needs
Lessons for all abilities and ages
Lessons are open to all ages and abilities, whether you’re stepping on a skateboard for the very first time or looking to relearn old skills and build confidence getting back on the board. Coaching is tailored to each individual, with a patient, supportive approach that meets people where they’re at. We also have experience working with children and adults with a range of adaptive needs, ensuring sessions are inclusive, flexible, and focused on making skateboarding accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Groups, Schools and Community Groups
We’re happy to discuss delivering skateboard coaching for larger groups and bespoke sessions, whether that’s school groups, community projects, home education groups, staff team-building days, or even something a bit different like stag or hen dos. Sessions can be tailored to suit your group’s needs, experience levels, and aims, with a strong focus on safety, inclusion, and enjoyment.
